Come join us in accelerating the energy and infrastructure transition!

Title- Supplier Quality Manager

Basic Function:

The Supplier Quality Manager will help develop, implement, and operate the supplier quality program supporting SB Energy’s data center portfolio. Reporting to the Director of Quality, this role will establish and manage quality controls for owner-furnished/contractor-installed (OFCI) and other critical supplier-provided equipment from supplier qualification and design review through production, factory testing, shipment, site receipt, installation, startup, and final turnover.

The Supplier Quality Manager will work closely with equipment suppliers, OEMs, engineering, procurement, project teams, third-party inspectors, general contractors, commissioning teams, site quality personnel, and operations to confirm that supplier-provided equipment meets SB Energy’s technical requirements, approved specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.

This role will support the broader SB Energy Quality Program by developing standardized supplier quality procedures, supplier requirements, inspection and test plans, factory audit processes, reporting tools, performance metrics, and corrective action workflows that can be consistently deployed across data center projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Supplier Quality Program Development and Governance

  • Partner with the Director of Quality to develop, launch, operate, and continuously improve the supplier quality component of the SB Energy Quality Program.
  • Establish program standards, specifications, procedures, workflows, templates, checklists, approval criteria, roles, and stage gates for critical supplier-provided equipment.
  • Develop risk-based quality requirements and oversight plans based on equipment criticality, technical complexity, supplier capability, project schedule, and prior performance.
  • Integrate supplier quality requirements with engineering, procurement, project quality plans, construction, commissioning, operations, and turnover processes.
  • Support development of quality language for equipment specifications, contracts, purchase orders, scopes of work, supplier data requirements, and third-party inspection services.
  • Maintain a centralized repository of approved supplier quality standards, forms, inspection records, and lessons learned in company-approved systems and tools.
  • Drive standardization across projects while allowing documented, risk-based adjustments for project-specific requirements.

Supplier Qualification and Quality Planning

  • Lead or coordinate supplier due diligence, qualification audits, capability assessments, and periodic performance reviews.
  • Assess supplier quality management systems, organization, technical capability, production capacity, process controls, sub-tier supplier management, material traceability, calibration, document control, nonconformance management, and corrective action processes.
  • Support procurement and engineering teams during sourcing, prequalification, bid evaluation, supplier selection, and award recommendations.
  • Develop supplier risk ratings and define the appropriate level of surveillance, audit, inspection, and testing for each equipment package.
  • Review supplier quality plans, inspection and test plans (ITPs), production schedules, factory acceptance test (FAT) procedures, inspection checklists, and required quality submittals.
  • Establish clear hold points, witness points, review points, release criteria, documentation requirements, and notification periods before production begins.
  • Confirm that quality requirements are flowed down to critical sub-tier suppliers and incorporated into supplier production and testing plans.

Supplier Oversight, Factory Inspection, and Testing

  • Plan and manage supplier audits, in-process production surveillance, source inspections, factory acceptance testing, bench testing, controls testing, final inspections, and shipment release reviews.
  • Perform inspections directly and coordinate qualified third-party inspectors, testing agencies, and subject matter experts when specialized coverage is required.
  • Verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, submittals, bills of material, production procedures, inspection criteria, test procedures, and applicable codes and standards.
  • Evaluate materials, critical dimensions, workmanship, assembly, labeling, configuration, cleanliness, preservation, packaging, test results, and readiness for shipment.
  • Confirm that inspection and test instruments are appropriate, calibrated, traceable, and within their required calibration periods.
  • Monitor supplier production progress and quality risks against project milestones, identify potential schedule or reliability impacts, and escalate significant concerns promptly.
  • Recommend shipment release only after required inspections, tests, documentation, and corrective actions are complete or formally addressed through an approved exception.
  • Ensure findings and action items from factory visits, inspections, and tests are clearly documented, assigned, tracked, and verified before closure.
  • Provide oversight for critical electrical, mechanical, controls, and modular or prefabricated systems, including equipment such as transformers, switchgear, busway, generators, UPS and battery systems, cooling equipment, pumps, electrical and mechanical skids, BMS/EPMS panels, and packaged control systems, as applicable.

Nonconformance, Corrective Action, and Supplier Performance

  • Manage supplier nonconformance reports, deviations, concessions, repair or replacement proposals, and requests for waiver in coordination with engineering and project stakeholders.
  • Require timely containment, correction, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive action for significant or recurring supplier quality issues.
  • Apply structured problem-solving methods, including 8D and root cause analysis, when issue severity or recurrence warrants formal investigation.
  • Verify that corrective actions address the underlying cause, are fully implemented, and are effective before final closure.
  • Track recurring defects, systemic supplier issues, late documentation, failed tests, shipping damage, and other trends across projects and equipment categories.
  • Develop and maintain supplier quality scorecards that support sourcing decisions, performance reviews, escalation, and continuous improvement.
  • Support warranty claims, supplier recovery efforts, replacement planning, and field corrective actions when supplier defects affect project execution or asset performance.

Project Integration, Logistics, and Handover

  • Coordinate closely with project quality managers, engineering, procurement, logistics, construction, commissioning, site operations, and general contractors to align supplier quality activities with project needs.
  • Establish supplier data, inspection, testing, and turnover documentation requirements early enough to support construction and commissioning schedules.
  • Support shipment readiness, packaging, preservation, transportation planning, site receipt inspections, and resolution of shipping damage, missing components, or preservation concerns.
  • Ensure required supplier quality and production records are complete and accessible, including audit reports, inspection reports, FAT results, material certifications, calibration records, approved deviations, nonconformance closures, as-built documents, warranties, and asset data.
  • Support site installation, startup, commissioning, and turnover teams in resolving supplier-related quality issues and coordinating supplier response.
  • Confirm that supplier quality records are linked to the applicable equipment and retained in the owner-approved document and asset management platform.
  • Capture project and supplier lessons learned and incorporate them into future specifications, checklists, sourcing decisions, and quality plans.

Metrics, Reporting, and Continuous Improvement

  • Establish and monitor supplier quality key performance indicators, including supplier audit findings, first-pass FAT results, nonconformance aging, corrective action closure, recurring defects, documentation completeness, shipping damage, and on-time release performance.
  • Prepare clear reports and dashboards for the Director of Quality and other stakeholders, highlighting performance, risks, overdue actions, emerging trends, and required decisions.
  • Analyze supplier and equipment performance across projects to identify systemic risks and opportunities for standardization or preventive action.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives that reduce defects, improve first-time quality, strengthen supplier accountability, and protect project schedule and reliability.
  • Share supplier quality performance and lessons learned with project teams, leadership, procurement, engineering, commissioning, and operations.

Stakeholder, Third-Party, and Team Leadership

  • Serve as the primary supplier quality interface for OEMs, suppliers, engineering firms, procurement, project teams, commissioning teams, and third-party inspection providers.
  • Manage the scope, performance, scheduling, deliverables, and quality of third-party inspectors, testing agencies, and consultants supporting supplier quality oversight.
  • Communicate complex technical and quality issues clearly, provide practical recommendations, and escalate critical or gating risks to the Director of Quality and project leadership.
  • Influence cross-functional teams and external partners without relying solely on direct authority, while maintaining accountability for agreed quality requirements and actions.
  • Develop training, guidance, and coaching for project quality personnel and other stakeholders participating in supplier audits, factory visits, inspections, and equipment acceptance.
  • Support development of future supplier quality resources and organizational capability as the data center portfolio grows.

Safety and Compliance

  • Champion a strong safety culture during supplier audits, factory inspections, testing, transportation, site receipt, and field support activities.
  • Follow supplier and project safety requirements, including required personal protective equipment, site orientation, lockout/tagout controls, and safe access to production and construction environments.
  • Confirm that production and testing activities comply with applicable project specifications, approved procedures, supplier requirements, and relevant codes and standards.
  • Identify and escalate conditions that could create safety, reliability, compliance, or operational risk for SB Energy projects or assets.

Design UX Design Engineer (Ireland Remote) at Oomnitza

Owns and maintains the design system, component library, and prototyping tooling that enables product engineers to move fast while maintaining design quality.

Mid Remote Posted about 13 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Oomnitza offers the industry’s most versatile Enterprise Technology Management platform that orchestrates and automates key business processes for IT. Our SaaS solution, with agentless integrations, best practices and low-code workflows, enables enterprises to leverage their existing infrastructure systems and automate processes such as offboarding, onboarding, audit readiness, refresh forecasting and more, thereby reducing reliance on error-prone manual tasks and tickets. We help some of the most well-known and innovative companies to improve efficiency, expedite audits, mitigate cyber risk and eliminate redundant IT spend.

Oomnitza is hiring a UX Design Engineer to own the design system, component library, and prototyping tooling that powers our Product Engineering team. In our model, Product Engineers run discovery and prototyping end-to-end; your job is to give them an opinionated, well-tested, well-documented platform so they can move fast without losing design quality.

This is a hands-on role. Most of your time is in code and design tooling: maintaining the system, evolving the Storybook component library, building scaffolding that makes prototyping fast, and consulting on the small number of interactions that are genuinely novel. The role can sit in the US or in Ireland since most of the work is with tooling and systems.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the Oomnitza design system end-to-end: visual language, interaction patterns, accessibility guardrails, and the rules that keep the product feeling like one product.
  • Maintain and extend the Storybook component library. Components should be correct, documented, performant, accessible, and easy for Product Engineers to compose.
  • Build and maintain the prototyping tooling (design tokens, AI-prompt scaffolds, design markdowns, starter kits) that lets Product Engineers move from idea to validated prototype in days.
  • Consult with Product Engineers on UX interactions that fall outside the patterns, and produce the new pattern, component, or guidance that adds back to the system.
  • Partner with engineering to keep the design system and the implementation library aligned. Identify when a one-off interaction should be promoted into the system.
  • Hold the quality bar for design output across the team. Review prototypes against the system, flag drift, and make the right thing easy to do.
  • Track the design-engineering space (Figma plugins, AI design tooling, headless component libraries, accessibility standards) and propose investments that make the team faster.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in design, human-computer interaction, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years combined across product design and front-end engineering. You are equally comfortable in Figma and in a modern front-end codebase.
  • Experience owning or substantially contributing to a production design system and a Storybook or equivalent component library.
  • Strong front-end skills: React, TypeScript, modern CSS including design tokens, and accessibility best practices.
  • Comfort with AI-enabled design and prototyping workflows. You see AI as a way to make the design system more useful, not as a replacement for it.
  • Strong taste paired with the discipline to systematize it. You recognize good design and codify it into reusable patterns and components.
  • Strong written and verbal communication. You can document a pattern, brief a Product Engineer, and influence without authority.
  • Self-directed and outcome-oriented. You identify the highest-leverage investments in the system and prioritize without close supervision.
  • B2B SaaS or enterprise software experience is a strong plus.

Our Benefits Package

  • Dental & Vision Insurance
  • Employee equity plan
  • Health Insurance for you, your spouse and dependents
  • Pension, Life insurance and Income protection
  • Remote working & flexible work schedules
  • Working from home equipment allowance
  • Choice of preferred equipment, Mac or PC
  • Regular, fun social events and workshops

What We Can Offer You

  • Market Competitive Salary
  • A progressive, healthy work culture with excellent opportunities for professional and personal development.
  • Top performers will have an opportunity to help shape the team. Working directly with the founders to drive initiatives and create a structure that scales.
  • A once-in-a-lifetime career opportunity to get onboard a fast-growing business that is venture-backed by Shasta Ventures, SYN Ventures, and Riverside Acceleration Capital

Oomnitza recruits, employs, trains, compensates and promotes regardless of race, religion, color, national origin, sex, disability, age, veteran status, and other protected status as required by applicable law.

Product Product Manager, AI Entities at EvenUp

Own the AI data extraction and infrastructure roadmap, partnering with ML/backend engineers to build scalable systems that power the company's AI products.

Mid Hybrid Posted about 13 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

EvenUp is on a mission to close the justice gap using technology and AI. We empower personal injury lawyers and victims to get the justice they deserve. Our products enable law firms to secure faster settlements, higher payouts, and better outcomes for victims injured through no fault of their own in vehicle collisions, accidents, natural disasters, and more.

We are one of the fastest-growing vertical SaaS companies in history, and we are just getting started. EvenUp is backed by top VCs, including Bessemer Venture Partners, Bain Capital Ventures, SignalFire, and Lightspeed. We are looking to expand our team with talented, driven, and collaborative individuals who seek to have a lasting impact. Learn more at www.evenuplaw.com.

We’re looking for a Product Manager to join our AI Platform group and own the systems that turn messy, unstructured case materials into accurate, structured “source of truth” data. This isn’t your typical PM role: it’s highly technical, backend-heavy, and focused on scalable AI extraction and data infrastructure. You’ll work closely with senior ML and backend engineers to build the models, evals, pipelines, tooling, and APIs that power all of EvenUp’s products.

You’ll be responsible for a mission-critical part of our AI strategy: making sure the entities we generate are accurate, consistent, and trustworthy enough for law firms to rely on. If you’ve built ML/LLM-powered data pipelines, love the challenge of turning unstructured input into structured, reliable output, and want broad impact across a fast-growing product org, this role is for you.

This is a hybrid role with the expectation of working at least 3 days a week from our San Francisco or Toronto offices. Title and compensation to be determined based on candidate experience.

What you’ll do:

  • Own the roadmap for a key part of our AI Platform, potentially including RAG services, text and image extraction and analysis services, model evaluation and deployment tools, and more.

  • Partner with ML and backend engineers to build scalable, reliable, and cost-effective systems that support product teams across the company.

  • Define success metrics, analyze performance and cost data , and use insights to inform priorities.

  • Work closely with other product managers teams to understand end-user needs and develop reusable platform capabilities that accelerate AI development.

  • Drive strategic decisions around model performance, vendor selection, and infrastructure scaling in a fast-evolving ecosystem.

  • Define success metrics for entity quality and pipeline performance.

  • Partner with other product managers and downstream teams to understand where entity quality or coverage gaps are limiting product experiences, and translate that into a prioritized platform roadmap.

  • Drive decisions on model performance, annotation strategy, and integration with continuous inference systems as the underlying ML approaches evolve.

What we look for:

  • 5+ years of product management experience, including time at a high-growth startup (Series B–E).

  • Experience building LLM/LMM-powered products or data infrastructure, with a strong understanding of how modern AI extraction and structured-data systems work end-to-end.

  • Technical fluency: you’ve worked closely with ML engineers, backend engineers, or data teams and can hold your own in technical discussions about model performance, data pipelines, and system design.

  • Comfort operating in a backend-heavy environment where your “users” are often internal teams and downstream product surfaces, and your work directly impacts data accuracy, reliability, and trust.

  • Analytical mindset: you use data to make decisions and are comfortable managing quality metrics (precision/recall, entity accuracy, coverage) alongside operational ones (latency, throughput).

Bonus points for:

  • Experience with RAG, agentic systems, and/or LLM/LMM optimization.

  • Familiarity with building internal platforms or tools that support other product teams.

  • B2B SaaS background, especially in products with significant AI or data components.

Benefits & Perks:

As part of our total rewards package, we offer attractive benefits and perks to our employees, including:

  • Choice of medical, dental, and vision insurance plans for you and your family.

  • Additional insurance coverage options for life, accident, or critical illness.

  • Flexible paid time off, sick leave, short-term and long-term disability.

  • 10 US observed holidays, and Canadian statutory holidays by province.

  • A home office stipend.

  • 401(k) for US-based employees and RRSP for Canada-based employees.

  • Paid parental leave.

  • A local in-person meet-up program.

  • Hubs in San Francisco and Toronto.

(Please note the above benefits & perks are for full-time employees)

Notice to Candidates:

To ensure fairness and proper consideration, we do not accept resumes or expressions of interest via email or social media messages. If you’re interested in a role, please submit your application directly through our careers page .

Please note that EvenUp may use AI notetakers and other recording devices in the recruiting process. If you interview with us, with your consent, we may record your conversations and summarize them into notes for internal use. Recording is optional, and declining will not affect your candidacy.

EvenUp is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to diversity and inclusion in our company. We do not discriminate based on race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.

Marketing Demand Capture Manager, Search & AI at Zip Security

Owns SEO and AI-powered search strategy to capture high-intent security buyer demand across organic and paid search channels.

Mid Posted about 13 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

About Zip Security

Cybersecurity for growing businesses is broken. Even enterprises spend heavily across hundreds of disconnected tools for marginal real-world benefit. For startups and mid-sized firms, this gap often means forgoing security entirely, or cobbling together a solution that leaves them vulnerable in other ways. At Zip Security, we build solutions that make enterprise cybersecurity effective and doable for growing businesses of all kinds, whether or not they have a security team in house.

Our product is a complete security program that automates device management, endpoint security, identity and access management, compliance, and managed IT and security operations to keep teams of all kinds protected. We help our customers pick their right security frameworks, correctly deploy the tools, policies, and controls they need, and keep everything enforced over time, so their business is protected and compliant, 24⁄7.

Zip is at the cutting edge of what’s possible in cybersecurity, and dedicated to delivering value for our customers. It’s a big part of why we’re backed by Ballistic Ventures. Major platforms are opening APIs that enable automated management at scale, new government initiatives are surfacing global threat data, and we’re positioned to be the first to properly integrate all of it. We’re looking for driven, talented people to help us get there. If this resonates with you, we invite you to consider building alongside our team.

About the Role

Demand for what Zip Security does already exists. Security buyers are researching the exact problems we solve every day, across Google, ChatGPT, and other AI answer engines. This role exists to capture that demand: make sure those buyers find Zip, and turn what they find into pipeline. At its core, this is a role for a strong SEO and AEO expert who is curious about Google Ads. You’ll own organic and AI search end to end, guide our paid search program alongside the agency that runs it, and have support on reporting and strategy. It’s the right role for someone who wants to understand why the numbers moved, not just report that they moved.

What You Will Build at Zip Security

  • An organic search engine that wins high-intent queries. Own Zip’s SEO strategy end to end, from technical foundations (crawling, indexing, site architecture, structured data) through content, internal linking, and authority.

  • Zip’s AEO strategy. Systematically grow Zip’s visibility and citations when buyers research security and compliance questions through ChatGPT, Google AI experiences, and other answer engines.

  • A search roadmap built on real buyer questions. Identify the topics and queries security buyers are actively researching, prioritized by commercial opportunity rather than search volume.

  • A conversion engine, not just a traffic engine. Analyze how visitors move through Zip’s site, find the friction in high-intent journeys, and test landing pages, messaging, and calls to action that turn visits into qualified pipeline.

  • One keyword strategy across paid and organic. Own the research that decides which queries are a paid play, which are an organic content play, and where Zip should own a topic with both. Guide priorities and targets with the agency that runs our Google Ads account, and feed what each channel learns back into the other.

  • The measurement to know what’s working. Shape reporting that connects search, AI visibility, and website behavior to pipeline and revenue, with support from the team on building reports and strategy.

  • A culture of experiments. Turn observations into hypotheses and hypotheses into measurable experiments, including where competitors are capturing search and AI visibility that Zip should own.

  • Own the distribution strategy for the content you create. Decide how and where content gets distributed across channels, not just what gets made.

We believe great teams are built by curious people who care deeply about learning, collaboration, and ownership. At Zip Security, you’ll have the autonomy to contribute ideas, shape decisions, and help build both our product and our culture. If you’re excited about the role, we encourage you to apply, even if your experience doesn’t perfectly align with every qualification.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years in SEO, growth, search, or digital acquisition, ideally in B2B SaaS or another high-consideration category.

  • Deep technical SEO expertise: crawling, indexing, site architecture, structured data, Core Web Vitals, redirects, canonicals, and diagnosing technical search issues yourself.

  • Genuine curiosity about AEO, GEO, and LLM visibility, ideally with hands-on experimentation into how brands earn citations inside ChatGPT and other AI answer engines.

  • Working knowledge of Google Ads and the ability to marry keyword strategy across organic and paid: researching which queries should be a paid play, which should be organic content, and where Zip should bottom out a topic with both. Our agency runs the account; you set the direction.

  • Strong analytical skills and hands-on fluency with Google Search Console, GA4, and modern SEO tools, including the instinct to investigate the data yourself when something moves.

  • Experience connecting acquisition activity to conversion, pipeline, and revenue, and turning messy datasets into clear, actionable recommendations.

  • Comfort operating independently, with support from the team and our agency on reporting and strategy.

  • Cybersecurity experience is valuable but not required. We’re more interested in an exceptional search operator who can learn our market deeply.

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation, equity, and comprehensive health benefits starting on day one

  • 401(k) plan to help you invest in your future

  • Flexible hybrid work environment (2-3 days in office! You decide what is best for you!)

  • Monthly wellness benefits to help you stay active, healthy, and balanced in whatever way works best for you

  • Comprehensive family-building, fertility, and hormonal health benefits to support you through every stage of life

  • High ownership, autonomy, and the opportunity to shape a rapidly growing company

  • Fully stocked office with endless snacks, coffee, and tea, plus Zip swag and team outings

Standard Interview Process

  • Initial Screen with Talent Partner

  • Hiring Manager Screen

  • Technical or Team Interview

  • Executive Interview

Project Management Project Coordinator, Labor Futures at Data & Society Research Institute

Coordinates research project activities, communications, and logistics across teams, researchers, and community partners for a labor and AI research initiative.

Mid Posted about 13 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Organizational Summary

Data & Society is an independent nonprofit research organization studying the social implications of data-centric technologies and automation. We recognize that the same innovative technologies that may benefit society can also be abused to invade privacy, provide new tools of discrimination, foreclose opportunity, and harm individuals and communities. Through original research and inclusive engagement, we work to ensure that empirical evidence and respect for human dignity guide how technology is developed and governed.

About The Role

Data & Society is seeking a Project Coordinator, Labor Futures, who serves as the main point of contact between researchers, community partners, the Labor Futures team, and other Data & Society departments, ensuring clear communication and alignment across the Cross Sector Labor & AI Project. This role does not conduct research, produce research writing, or serve in a public‑facing communications capacity.

The Cross Sector Labor & AI project is a newly launched project that applies rigorous, qualitative empirical research to understand the impacts of AI on workers, support pro-worker policy interventions, and identify opportunities to build solidarity across labor, climate, immigrant rights, and other movements. We will conduct case studies across various sectors of work to identify common patterns in the narratives, financial incentives, and practices that can disempower workers and deepen structural inequities. Outcomes of this project will include case studies and policy documents, media engagement, community resources, public events, and other network-building activities. This project team will work in close collaboration with labor organizations, unions, and other community partners throughout the design, fieldwork, and public engagement phases of the project.

The Project Coordinator is responsible for facilitating and coordinating a wide range of activities for the Labor Futures team and assisting the Program Director with moving the project from planning to publication and dissemination.  The Project Coordinator coordinates and supports the team’s multi-faceted programming, provides day-to-day administrative, operational, and logistical project support, collaborates with other Data & Society departments, and maintains relationships with researchers and external partners.  The Project Coordinator works both independently and collaboratively with members of the research team and other key members of the organization.

This position will report to the Program Director, is fully remote, and will begin in October 2026 with an end date of June 30, 2028.

The Candidate

This role is ideal for someone with a background in project coordination or community engagement and who is highly organized, detail-oriented, operationally reliable, and motivated by an interest in economic justice, technology, and democratic practice. Although this position is not an academic research role, a background in the social sciences, humanities, and/or public scholarship is highly desirable.

The Project Coordinator brings a working familiarity with research environments, including common research practices, tools, and norms, and represents the project in logistical and coordination‑focused communications with internal teams and external stakeholders.

The Project Coordinator, Labor Futures reports to the Program Director, Labor Futures, and has no people management responsibilities.

Primary Responsibilities

Administrative and Project Coordination

  • Liaise with researchers and community partners to schedule and manage regular meetings and check-ins, ensuring all parties are informed and aligned on key project developments and touchpoints.
  • Work with the Program Director to keep researchers informed of project developments, ensure participation in relevant meetings, and support timely completion of deadlines and deliverables by coordinating regular check-ins and group meetings.
  • Support the Program Director in managing the established project budget by coordinating project‑related financial workflows in adherence with internal financial policies, including but not limited to those related to IRB, participant stipends, and approved work travel for researchers.
  • Oversee implementation of an established research budget, processing requests for funds as needed and appropriate (IRB, participation stipends, work-approved and related travel) for researchers.
  • Work with the Program Director and Senior Researcher to assist researchers with report development and publication, including adherence to mutual cross project report structure and timeline, assisting with obtaining needed resources, and connecting with other researchers in the field.
  • Maintain a bird’s eye view of the various moving parts of the project by meeting with researchers or community partners, as needed, synthesizing discussions into clear action items, and identifying potential conflicts, discrepancies, or synergies to elevate to the Program Director.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative and logistical support to the Labor Futures team by overseeing the operational calendar, including scheduling meetings (including with individual researchers, team members and partners), preparing agendas and assembling pre-meeting materials, note taking, and maintaining and organizing shared file management systems.

Coordination across Teams and Researchers

  • Coordinate with the Communications, Strategy & Engagement, and Editorial teams to establish and ensure timelines and deliverables are met.
  • Work closely with the HR and Finance teams to coordinate onboarding processes for Contract Researchers, ensuring required documentation and other logistical steps are completed in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with the Finance team and Contract Researchers to support project‑related financial workflows by ensuring adherence to internal financial processes, including the timely submission of complete, accurate documentation required for payment processing by Finance.

Relationship Management and External Engagement

  • Maintain partner relationships by scheduling and preparing for meetings, fielding information requests from partners and researchers, and identifying potential issues to elevate to the Project Director in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate regular quarterly or monthly calls with partner organizations to support information sharing, project updates, and ongoing collaboration.
  • Communicate consistently with partner organizations to provide updates, event announcements and follow-up summary of notes.
  • Assist research team in maintaining a contact database of inquiries about the project from academia, civil society, and journalists.

Organizational Development

  • Contribute to the intellectual life of the organization as an active participant in internal programming: attendance at organization wide meetings, actively engage in talks, seminars or reading groups, and contributing to the development of research and engagement management practices.

Skills & Qualifications

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

NB: please note the portfolio submission requirements as explained at the end of the advert

We run a WordPress support and maintenance company that has grown over the last twenty years mostly through direct referrals and word of mouth. Our work is good. Our website does not do it justice, and it does not convert. We want to fix that, starting with the few pages that matter most.

We are looking for a direct response copywriter to rewrite those pages: a landing page for our website rebuild service, then our main Rebuild, Redesign, and agency partner pages. This is project work with a clear, finite scope, not an ongoing content gig and not blog writing.

The work (project-based, remote)

  • A price-forward landing page for our Website Rebuild service, built to turn cold ad traffic into a booked call. This is the first deliverable and the one we care about most.
  • Three more service pages once the landing page is live: Website Rebuild, Redesign, and our agency partner program.
  • Each page is its own project with its own fee. We are not asking for a full site rewrite right now.

You’re a fit if

  • You write direct response, not general content. Your pages are built to make someone act, and you think in terms of the reader’s problem, not our feature list.
  • You can show conversion results from past work. Before-and-after rates, tracked revenue, lift on a page you wrote. We want numbers, not a vibe.
  • You have written for B2B or service businesses. We sell a considered, recurring service to business owners, not an impulse buy.
  • You price by the project and can explain why a page is worth what you charge.

You’re probably not a fit if

  • Your portfolio is mostly blog posts, SEO content, or brand voice work with no response-driven pages.
  • You talk about word counts and keyword density more than conversion and customer psychology.
  • You want a long-term content retainer. That may come later, but this is project work first.

How to apply:

Together with your resumè, attach 2 -3 pieces from your portfolio, with a brief description of the results these produced (this should be submitted as a single attachment). Include a sentence or two on the kind of direct response work you do best, as well as us your typical per-page project fee. We read every reply that includes real conversion numbers first.

If your background fits, we will have a short call to talk through the work and your project rates.

Shortlisted applicants will be asked to write the actual Rebuild landing page, which they will be paid for at their normal rate as per a real deliverable. We will then compare the pages to decide on the strongest submission, to continue the remaining work.

Engineer Sustainability Engineer, PyPI at Python Software Foundation

Builds and ships features in PyPI's codebase, focusing on billing integrations, access control, and revenue-generating features while maintaining the platform's open-source mission.

Mid Remote Posted about 13 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

The Python Software Foundation (PSF) is hiring a contract Sustainability Engineer, PyPI reporting to the PSF’s Director of Engineering. The mission of the Python Software Foundation is to promote, protect, and advance the Python programming language, and to support and facilitate the growth of a diverse and international community of Python programmers. In support of our mission, the PSF manages the infrastructure that provides resources and downloads on python.org, documentation on docs.python.org, packages on pypi.org, and more.

Overview

This role will be focused on building features in Warehouse, PyPI’s codebase. The goal is straightforward: make PyPI financially sustainable so it doesn’t depend entirely on donations and sponsorships. We launched PyPI organization accounts in 2025 as our first revenue stream, so there’s already some groundwork laid.

Most of your time goes to shipping features that help sustain PyPI and the PSF. You’ll write Python, work with the packaging ecosystem’s standards process when new features need upstream changes, and deal with the unglamorous parts: billing integrations, access control edge cases, storage and CDN costs.

The tricky part isn’t technical. It’s figuring out what PyPI can offer to free users as well as organizations. You’ll be part of those decisions, which means understanding what commercial tools offer, what enterprises actually need, and how to generate revenue while keeping the PSF’s mission first. PyPI is free infrastructure that millions of people depend on. We have an opportunity to make it more powerful for organizations, which will help sustain the foundation, as well as free users.

Core Responsibilities

  • Build and ship features in Warehouse, PyPI’s codebase
  • Billing integrations, access control, storage and CDN work
  • Write Python, review PRs, ship user-facing changes
  • Coordinate with the Infrastructure Engineer on deployment, scaling, and operational concerns
  • Collaborate with PSF and PyPI security engineers on security-related features and concerns
  • Work closely with the PyPI Support Specialist to address PyPI Organizations, user-reported security concerns and escalate issues appropriately
  • Interface with PyPI stakeholders about user and community needs
  • Occasional on-call responsibilities, shared with the Engineering team as it relates to PyPI

Product Work

  • Help decide what PyPI offers to free users and organizations
  • Research what commercial offerings provide and where PyPI fits
  • Talk to enterprise users and translate their needs into features worth building
  • Balance revenue goals with PyPI’s mission as free infrastructure

Standards & Ecosystem

  • Work with the packaging ecosystem’s standards process when features need upstream changes
  • Coordinate with Packaging Council and other packaging stakeholders

Qualifications

Solid Python experience, comfort with web frameworks, and enough frontend knowledge to ship user-facing features end-to-end. Familiarity with Python packaging and infrastructure concerns like object storage and CDN architecture. Product instincts help since you’ll talk to enterprise users and translate their problems into features worth building. Experience working with open source communities is a plus.

Required: Proficiency with Python web frameworks, base understanding of HTML/CSS/JavaScript, software testing.

Desired: Proficiency with PostgreSQL, proficiency in HTML/CSS/JavaScript, and the Pyramid web framework, Python 3.14+, Pytest, object storage

Details

  • Location: Global remote, US-based candidates strongly preferred; regular collaboration with US timezones required. Exceptional international candidates may be considered under a contractor agreement.
  • Compensation: $75-$180K for US employees (based on experience), or a comparable contractor rate for international candidates. US employees are eligible for healthcare and other benefits; contractor engagements do not include benefits.
  • Type: Fixed-term (Full-time, 1 year), with possibility of renewal

The Python Software Foundation is a US 501Š(3) non-profit corporation that holds the intellectual property rights behind the Python programming language. We also run the PyCon US conference annually, support other Python conferences/workshops around the world, and fund Python-related development with our grants program. To see more info about the PSF, check out our Annual Impact Report and public records.

We believe that the future of open source must include everyone. We welcome all job-seekers regardless of race, color, ethnicity, religion, age, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, physical appearance, body size, socio-economic, veteran or disability status. Python is a global community and the PSF aims to support a safe environment for all. More information can be found on our Code of Conduct page.
