What we do:
Halcyon is the industryâs first dedicated, adaptive security platform that combines multiple proprietary advanced prevention engines along with AI models focused specifically on stopping ransomware.
Who we are:
Halcyon was formed in 2021 by a team of cyber industry veterans after battling the scourge of ransomware (and advanced threats) for years at some of the largest global security vendors. Comprised of leaders from Cylance (now Blackberry), Accuvant (now Optiv), Fireye and ISS X-Force (now IBM), Halcyon is focused on building products and solutions for mid-market and enterprise customers.
As a remote-native, completely distributed global team, we recognize great talent can exist anywhere. We invite you to apply to a job youâre interested in and weâll work a plan to meet your needs.

About Halcyon
Halcyon builds an advanced anti-ransomware platform that enterprise security teams rely on to stop attacks other tools miss. Our agent runs on our customers endpoints, in production, in some of the largest environments in the world. We move quickly and give people real ownership, which only works because weâre deliberate about who we bring on

Our engineering team is highly technical, and you will work with them daily. Engineering owns the solution design, but you will own the customer outcomes and business objectives. You need to hold your own in those conversations, ask the right questions, and understand why endpoint is its own discipline.
This is a customer-facing role. You will spend real time with enterprise security teams in roadmap reviews, executive briefings, and technical deep dives. You will also work closely with our Sales Architects, Customer Success, Marketing, and Support, who are in front of customers every day and are one of your best sources of signal. Understanding your audience will be key success factor, and you will need to know when to lean into technical aspects but also be able to articulate the value that the technical solutions provide to executive level buyers.

Demonstrated ability to lead technical decisions in a small, autonomous team environment

The Senior SEO Strategist at SiteCare plays a vital role in maintaining and optimizing WordPress websites, focusing on technical implementation, SEO best practices, and detailed documentation to support our clientsâ digital success. This position requires a strong foundation in technical SEO, hands-on experience with WordPress, and a commitment to precision and continuous improvement.
This is a full-time, fully-remote position, ideal for a detail-oriented professional eager to grow within a collaborative environment.
Own organic search and AI discovery performance for an assigned book of SiteCare clients, typically 12 to 15 accounts across our plan tiers, including sitecare.com. Set quarterly KPIs per client, defend them in internal reviews, and report progress to clients directly. Decide which work gets prioritized inside each engagement based on impact, with escalation paths defined for scope and budget changes.
Keep every client site in your portfolio above an agreed technical health bar. Run scheduled audits, maintain a prioritized issue backlog, and partner with Delivery Managers to get fixes shipped. Be the person who notices indexing drops, Core Web Vitals regressions, and crawl budget waste before the client does.
Build and maintain a 12-month organic growth roadmap for each client, refreshed quarterly. Conduct keyword and topic research, competitive gap analysis, and content opportunity sizing. Translate findings into a sequenced plan with traffic and pipeline forecasts the client can hold you to.
Write briefs that give SiteCareâs content collaborators and client editorial teams everything they need: target queries, search intent, competitive context, internal linking targets, schema requirements, and citation-worthy elements. Review drafts for SEO and GEO fit before publish. Maintain the editorial pipeline alongside the clientâs marketing lead.
Run SiteCareâs AI visibility practice across client accounts. Monitor brand and topic presence in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, and Google AI Overviews using Ahrefs Brand Radar and at least one dedicated GEO tool. Recommend and implement content, schema, and entity changes that improve citation rates. Define what âgoodâ looks like in AI search and report on it monthly.
Deliver a monthly performance report and a quarterly business review for every account in your portfolio. Lead the SEO and GEO portions of QBRs alongside the Client Success Advisor. Present audits and roadmaps to non-technical stakeholders without losing the technical substance.
Contribute to SiteCareâs SEO and GEO practice beyond your portfolio. Maintain the teamâs audit playbooks, tooling stack, and reporting templates. Publish original research and point-of-view content under your name on sitecare.com and LinkedIn at an agreed cadence. Train Delivery Managers and Client Specialists on what they need to spot and escalate.
Work daily with Delivery Managers on implementation, Client Success Advisors on account strategy, and the leadership team on practice direction. Flag opportunities for development work expansions and net-new engagements when SEO findings reveal scope the client should invest in.
Design and deliver scalable full-stack SaaS applications with ownership across frontend, backend, and data layers while mentoring engineers and driving quality standards.
